Custom Railings: Interior + Exterior

Designing custom railings for residential or commercial spaces can completely transform the overall aesthetic of any room. From glass to stainless steel, there are many different elements you can choose from and combine together.

From rods to cables, there are a lot of options to choose from when customizing railings with stainless steel. Stainless steel elements can be chosen in many different finishes; from polished, brushed, to custom painted to match surrounding fixtures. Stainless steel cable railings are one of the many options we provide when designing custom railings for residential or commercial spaces. Incorporating cable railings into your design could be ideal for achieving more of a modern feel. Stainless steel rod railings can create a unique design element to any staircase. These type railings can be fabricated in either a straight fashion or a curved design, making them ideal for curved or spiral staircases.

Glass railings and partitions are a great selection for opening up and allowing natural sunlight to fill into any darkened spaces. You can also customize your glass railings by adding a color tint to the glass. If you are looking to install glass railings onto an exterior balcony, laminated glass is recommended. In the event where the glass is shattered, laminated glass holds in place by an inter-layer between two layers of glass. This type of glass allows the shattered glass panel to stay intact, which is particularly ideal for commercial spaces. When installing laminated glass to your exterior railings, a stainless steel cap rail is usually top mounted to the glass panels for added rigidity. We utilize a top mounted aluminum base shoe to anchor the laminated glass panels, which is then covered with a 316 grade brushed stainless steel cladding. Stainless steel in 316 Grade is preferred for outdoor use due to its greater resistance to corrosion than other grades of steel. Choosing glass for your custom railings is perfect for creating a light and airy ambiance to any residential or commercial space.
