Artistic Glass Railings

This beautiful residential home was in need of a new staircase design! With glass and polished stainless steel elements, we transformed their outdated staircase into an immaculate work of art!

For this residential staircase, glass panel railings were anchored directly onto the wood treads. We installed the glass panels by utilizing a stainless steel standoff anchor system. The stainless steel standoff anchors were later covered in wood cladding; this gives the illusion of a glass railing protruding from the staircase. The wood cladding was chosen to match seamlessly with the wood treads. Choosing the wood to have a darker stain was the perfect selection to create a nice contrasting element to the overall aesthetic. As you ascend up the staircase, you are met with a glass guardrail on the second floor. All of the glass panels were top mounted with a stainless steel cap-rail, chosen to be in a mirror polish.
