Modern Residential Staircase

Who said spiral staircases had to be round? In this lovely residential home, we designed and installed a very unique staircase for this modernized space!

When approaching the staircase, you are met with dark stained wood treads and a wall mounted stainless steel handrail. The stainless steel handrails continue up along one side of the staircase to the second floor. All of the stainless steel elements were chosen to be in a brushed finish, a nice touch to the overall aesthetic. As you ascend up the staircase, it transitions into two staircases. On one side, a very unique spiral staircase was designed to fit a very cramped space. When you have a tight space for a spiral staircase, why not extend the steps to the walls to gain the extra space? We did just that. The spiral staircase comprised of squared wooden treads and glass railings. The glass railings were installed onto the spiral staircase by utilizing a stainless steel standoff anchor system. Choosing a dark stain for the wood treads created a nice contrasting element to the overall design. Whether you are renovating an existing staircase or designing for new construction, our custom staircase designs are a perfect fit for any home.
