Commercial Glass Railings in Doral

A commercial building in the Doral, Florida area was looking for a new staircase design and Bella Stairs was happy to assist in the process! Combining glass with stainless steel elements transformed this commercial staircase to looking sleek and modern.

Laminated glass railings were installed on both sides of the staircase. The glass panels were anchored by using an aluminum base shoe, then later covered with drywall. Stainless steel cap rails were top mounted to the glass panels for added rigidity. Stainless steel handrails were also installed on both side of the staircase, as per Florida Building Code. Each handrail transitions from being mounted directly on glass railings to concrete walls, which took some minor design implementations to ensure this could be accomplished. All of the stainless steel elements were chosen to come in a brushed finish, matching nicely with this commercial building’s ambiance.

Another successful collaboration with our friends at G. Alvarez Studio, Inc!
