Brass Handrails

In a collaboration with G Alvarez Studio and Amicon Construction, we designed and installed brass handrails for this exquisite commercial space!

Our unique handrail design was installed throughout this modernized space in different fashions. We designed our brass handrails to be in a squared, flat-bar style; which matches nicely with this commercial building’s overall aesthetic. Some of the brass handrails throughout the space were installed by top mounted posts, while other brass handrails were wall mounted. As per Florida Building Code, handrails must be 36″ high. In the event where the staircase exceeds 44″ in width, it is required to have a handrail on each side of the staircase. This ensures the safety of dual traffic when traveling up and down the staircase simultaneously. Implementing these building codes into your commercial design will ensure safety without compromising the overall aesthetic of your design.

Choosing a flat-bar handrail design can be ideal for achieving a contemporary or modern style in any space. The streamline design allowed for a clean and aesthetically pleasing look.
