Are glass treads safe to walk on? Are they slippery?
There are a number of options available to create a safer walking surface while using glass treads. During installation, we apply non-slip strips to the front of each glass tread. This is required for building code purposes.
What is the maximum load capacity? Can I move furniture up and down the stairs if necessary?
We provide structural calculations and engineering to guarantee that our stairs abide by local building code regulations. Therefore, our stairs can handle just as much weight as any other staircase would be able to.
How do I care for my glass stairs?
You can clean it like any other glass product. We recommend using lint-free glass wipes, or a microfiber lens cloth. You can also use any liquid glass cleaner.
What payment options are accepted?
We accept Cash, Check or Money Orders. We do not accept Credit Card payments.
How long does it take to complete a set?
This depends entirely on the scope of the project, as well as the amount of time required during the permit process. Standard lead time for most staircase products is 4 to 6 months, although this is subject to change on a per project basis.
Where do you provide your services? Are you local or nationwide?
Bella Stairs provides it’s services Nationwide and has had a number of clients located in states such as New York, Georgia, Hawaii, and California. We also welcome any inquiries from our neighbors located in the Caribbean.
