Immaculate Glass Railing Design

A beautiful home in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida received a brand new look for their staircase. We created a stunning glass railing design by utilizing glass and black matte stainless steel elements! A successful collaboration with Hereu’s Construction and Sire Design!

The existing staircase comprised of closed riser wood treads, which created a unique zigzag effect. We were able to keep this beautiful space light and airy by adding a glass railing design to the staircase, allowing for the natural sunlight to flood the space. As you ascend the staircase to the second floor, you are met with a glass railing as well on both sides of the walkway. We also had the pleasure of completing custom glass bar shelves adjacent to our stairs! Adding LED lighting to the glass shelves of the bar created an artistic focal point the desired space.

Black matte stainless steel elements were also utilized on the glass railings, creating an artistic contrasting element to the overall design. Black matte stainless steel handrails were installed directly onto the glass railings along the staircase. On the second floor, black matte stainless steel cap rails were installed onto the glass guardrails for added rigidity. The handrails and cap rails were chosen in a squared fashion, adding a nice modern touch to the overall aesthetic.
