Stair design in the Florida Keys has never looked as good as this. A residential project located in Cudjoe Key, Florida (15 miles North of Key West) was transformed from a quaint 1500 squarefoot vacation home to a luxurious 2500+ square foot oceanfront oasis.
Part of the scope of work was a new wood staircase with low-iron glass railing. A mixture of wood and stainless steel elements was a part of the overall execution of the stair design. Bella Stairs played a key role in the development of structural design and aesthetic qualities. By teaming up with the carpenter on site, a uniquely constructed and polished staircase was erected, resulting in the finished product you see below.
The landing support is a 10 foot long driftwood/log the homeowners/contractors found 60 miles offshore in the Atlantic ocean. Other parts of the log were recycled into coffee and end tables in the living room.
